Charles M. Taylor, III, D.D.S.

Dr. Charles M. Taylor III has been setting the highest standards of orthodontic excellence for over three decades! As an Abilene, TX, native, Dr. Taylor attended Cooper High School before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He then went on to study dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed specialized postgraduate training in orthodontics from the University of Southern California.

A second-generation orthodontist, Dr. Taylor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Charles H. Tweed International Foundation for Orthodontic Research, as well as the Texas Association of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

He enjoys exercising, spending time with his daughter and son in law and hanging out in Hunt Texas.

Dr. Simi Mathur, DDS, MS

Dr. Simi Mathur grew up in Abilene and graduated from Wylie High School in 2011. She then obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Management Consulting and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with honors. Dr. Mathur then achieved her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry. In dental school, she served as the vice president of her student body and was inducted into the Odontological Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Mathur was also a member of the Dean’s Cumulative Honor List. Dr. Mathur specialized in Orthodontics and earned her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio where she was the Chief Resident. Dr. Mathur is a board-certified orthodontist, the vice-president of the Abilene TDA, and a Spear Study Club member.

In her spare time, Dr. Simi Mathur loves spending time with her family. She is very grateful for the wonderful people of Abilene for welcoming her back home and loves serving this community!
